When and where is GovEnergy 2011?
GovEnergy will take place August 7-10 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH.
Where can I find a schedule?
An event schedule has been posted to the GovEnergy website. In an effort to reduce paper waste, GovEnergy will offer free mobile apps for various smart phone platforms. GovEnergy will also provide a free WAP (a web application with nothing to download). Touchscreen monitors and information kiosks will be available throughout the Duke Energy Convention Center. How can I register?
Online registration closes 12 midnight (EST) Monday, July 25. Onsite registration opens 7:30 am, Saturday, August 6. Learn more

What are the payment options?
Payment, in U.S. Funds, can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or check (bank checks, cashier checks, or company checks. GovEnergy does not accept personal checks).
Federal Employees: Credit card payments will not be processed until July 25.
Non-Federal Employees: Credit card payments will be processed at the time of registration.
What's included with registration?
Access to training sessions, special sessions the trade show, networking events, breakfast (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday), lunch (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday) and reception hors d'oeuvres (Sunday & Monday).

What is the cancellation policy?
All cancellations received between June 11 and July 25 will be charged a fee of $50.00. No refunds will be issued after July 25. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. You may substitute attendees at any time by sending written notification by August 1. After August 1, please bring all registration adjustment details to the onsite Registration Help Desk at GovEnergy. Learn more.
How do I sign up for training sessions?
GovEnergy is offering over 130 training sessions in 15 tracks. You have the flexibility to choose what sessions to attend once you arrive. You cannot sign up for sessions prior to arrival. Please review your session options ahead of time. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
What type of education credits are being offered?
Education credits will be awarded based upon session attendance. Your attendee badge is scanned as you enter each GovEnergy training session, documenting your attendance. Training credits include:
Does this event offer training certificates?
Training certificates will be available from the GovEnergy website beginning August 17. You will need your attendee identification number to access your training certificate from the GovEnergy website. Your attendee identification number is printed on your GovEnergy badge. Please keep the paper badge insert from your attendee badge after GovEnergy. Training certificates will available for printing until December 31, 2011.

How do I become an exhibitor at the GovEnergy trade show?
Exhibit space for the GovEnergy 2011 trade show is currently sold out. Sign up for the 2011 Exhibitor Waiting List to receive notification, should space become available. You will also receive details about the 2012 trade show.
How is the program developed?
Training sessions are organized by the GovEnergy Planning Committee, a team of volunteers representing both the public and private sector. Program decisions are made by the GovEnergy Executive Committee, consisting of representation from the seven federal agency sponsors, and coordinated by GovEnergy's Executive Director. Trade show logistics and registration are organized by MC2.
How do I join the GovEnergy Planning Committee?
Visit the GovEnergy website to complete an online application. The online application will be available starting Wednesday, August 10.
