GovEnergy Exhibitor Sustainability Scorecard

For the first time in 2011, GovEnergy offered the GovEnergy Exhibitor Sustainability Scorecard in partnership with Leonardo Academy. The Exhibitor Sustainability Scorecard was offered in an effort to foster sustainability in exhibitor practices including: 

  • Increasing exhibitor awareness of exhibit sustainability
  • Providing an opportunity for exhibitors to gauge the sustainably of their exhibit practices
  • Providing ideas for improved exhibit sustainability.

Participating exhibitors answered questions about their sustainability practices in the following catergories:

  • Sustainability Policies
  • Exhibitor Materials
  • Travel, Packing, Shipping, and Freight
  • Printed Materials and Giveaways
  • Recycling and Re-use of Exhibit Materials
  • Sustainable Products and Services

All participating exhibitors received a score between 0 and 80 (a score of 80 represents 100% achievement, but 5 extra credit points are available). Levels of acheivement are designated Participant (0-20 points), Silver (21-40 points), Gold (41-60 points) and Platinum (61-80 points).
