Registration Information for Exhibit Hall Staff

  • Please be sure to register the names of your GovEnergy participants by July 28, 2009. Register your exhibitors by completing the exhibitor badge registration form, included with your Exhibitor Service Kit (which arrives in May).
  • Exhibitor badges serve as all-access passes, granting full admission to the exhibit hall, all networking events (including opening and closing plenary sessions, receptions, coffee breaks and lunches) and the opportunity to attend any of the highly regarded technical training sessions.
  • Exhibitor badges must be worn throughout the entire conference; especially during the set–up and dismantling of the exhibit hall.
  • Exhibitor badges are not transferable. Any necessary changes required after the July 28, 2009 deadline must be made on–site, during standard registration hours. Pre–registered exhibitors may obtain their exhibitor badges at the Exhibitor Registration Desk, on–site at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
  • For additional exhibitor badges (i.e. badges needed above and beyond the initial allotment), individuals are required to register as full conference attendees, thus incurring the set registration fees.

Only registered attendees may attend the GovEnergy training sessions. Daily passes to the exhibit hall are available each morning for $50 at the registration desk, granting access to all exhibit hall-related networking events.

Exhibitor Service Kit

Additional show information will be included in the Service Kit which will be available in mid May. The Service Kit includes an exhibitor badge registration form, as well as forms for ordering booth furnishings and other exhibit–related services.

Promotional Items

Please keep in mind the 2009 conference theme, Charting a Course to Energy Independence, especially when selecting your promotional items. GovEnergy fully supports energy efficiency, and is striving toward "greener" practices; we encourage you to choose your promotional items wisely. Many of the federal agencies no longer allow flash drives due to IT security concerns. We are strongly discouraging the use of flash drives as promotional items.

Mark your calendars for Monday, August 10! Doing Business with the Federal Government is a training session for private sector contractors and service providers who register to attend GovEnergy. This session covers two different focus areas. Part 1 provides an overview of GSA contracts, Part 2 addresses ways to do business with the federal government other than with a GSA schedule contract. Revised and expanded for 2009, both sessions will provide a comprehensive overview of the federal procurement process. Doing Business with the Federal Government will be of special interest to those who are new to doing business with the federal government as well as those who are seasoned practitioners.

Monday August 10
Part 1: 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM in Hall D
Part 2: 2:15 PM - 3:15 PM in Hall D
