Description:
The Federal government is a leader in the development and use of energy efficiency technologies. During this session participants will learn how DOE assists manufacturers with developing new technologies, how FEMP assists with the purchase of energy efficient products and the concerted efforts by agencies, ESCOs, and staff from the National Laboratories have demonstrated that Energy Savings Performance Contracts can be a useful vehicle for deploying innovative emerging technologies. This course will discuss the policies, tools, training and resources that are being used to make Federal facilities more energy efficient.
